I alway like having Krowtann on hand, especially for iffy capes. The process is very easy to follow and the outcome is a nice white tanned skin.
This true tan is specifically formulated for deer, elk, and similar mammals. It is very easy to use and consistently produces soft, pliable skin that reduces shrinkage to a minimum and provides a substantial amount of control.
